I must have seen stars after flipping through more than 50 pages and so missed it on page 86. I also looked through the few guide books on flowers, plants and trees published by the Singapore Science centre that I have and could not find a picture of it. I have quite a number of books on plants and flowers etc because books are my main shopping weakness. You can check out these books in the very first post of this blog. I have bought some more since. I don't have time to read each of them thoroughly and only use them as references and to enjoy the pictures whenever I can. The name of the plant given in the book is Christia vespertilionis but some websites also refer to it as 'Christia obcordata'. I have changed the name to the former since my reference is the 1001 Garden Plants in Singapore book.Mableinsingaporehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04567728687559507895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17361808.post-44036249315443730582007-07-15T22:00:00.000+08:002007-07-15T22:00:00.000+08:00which book u referred to? i think it's named as re...which book u referred to? i think it's named as red butterfly wing in 1001 Garden plants in SIngaporeslurp!https://www.blogger.com/profile/02364713336222726025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17361808.post-90791527689913556472007-07-14T11:26:00.000+08:002007-07-14T11:26:00.000+08:00Thanks Slurp for the name of the plant and the lin...Thanks Slurp for the name of the plant and the link.
