Tomorrow's flower - Cordyline fruticosa (Ti plant)

Sometimes I live one day ahead
sometimes, one day behind
What matters is what lies in between
when I am deeply, deeply conscious
when time is passing by.

A face peering at their loveliness

People walking by mostly oblivious

To their presence

for their own reasons

I see these flowers

It matters that I shower

them my undivided attention

moment by moment

my breath taken away

but returned renewed for the day

A chance encounter

right place at the right time.

Origin:Papua New Guinea

This is a decorative shrub that provides colour to parks and gardens. When I first saw this plant, I never thought that it flowers. It was a pleasant surprise when I chanced upon these attractive flowers.
