Pometia pinnata - Kasai Daun Besar

I have walked past these trees growing to the height of the boardwalk in Kent Ridge Park for months and have always admired the deep red leaves at the crown of each of these tall and lanky trees. About two weeks ago, I was rewarded with flowers! Pity I did not have my camera with me at that time. When I went back to Kent Ridge Park the following week I made sure that I did not leave my camera at home and it was a lovely sight that greeted me as I walked towards these flowers with the sun behind them and the bees buzzing around the tiny flowers.
