If the colours of flowers are meant to match the brightness of day, then these Bauhinia Kockiana blooms here show that the day during those moments when their beauty was captured by my camera was at its peak. Thereafter the sunshine began to scorch the skin and the light became too harsh for textures to show in the petals. At West Coast Park there is this little garden where these Bauhinias are royalty.
