and we need a rose or a few roses
to feed our senses while we live
like couch potatoes sometimes
This is one of those times.
Red Desert Rose (Adenium obesum) that belongs to a neighbour.
These flowers are rather popular amongst the older folks. During Chinese New Year, they are considered to be lucky to have in your garden. Colours of the flowers vary from plant to plant. This particular pot in my neighbours garden was of such a brilliant shade of red that even though I am not particularly fond of this plant, I was drawn like a magnet by the colour in the bright sunshine.
