Flowers at the Singapore Botanic Gardens - Gingers

There were not too many ginger flowers at the garden today. Still, they made a difference to me.

Costus lucanusianus

The flowers were on the decline the day I saw so many of them lined up next to a drain. Because of the numbers, I had so much choice. Just love the colours against the light.

Dairy Farm Nature Park - The Quarry trail flowers.

Last Sunday, we took a walk to the quarry section of the Dairy Farm Nature Park. The weather was great for walking for the sun was behind clouds most of the time towards noon time. The tarmac road leading to the quarry was safe to walk along as traffic was blocked from entering the park.
