Couroupita guianensis - Cannonball tree

They look like newly-opened flowers, fresh and fragrant. On a morning when flowers open their hearts to the world, we have no reason to close ours to people. Easier said than done really. There will always be a part of us that is not known to others. I wonder if flowers have secret thoughts as well.

Assortment of flowers

Today I saw a pink hibiscus flower smile
and a white hibiscus mocking at my camera
and a beauty that made my day.
Dianella ensifolia against the leaves of a spider lily plant.
This blue fruit was actually purplish (what happened to my camera?)
The flowers have gone and in their places are the fruits
of labour of this Cannonball tree.
These are ordinary sightings in a park but no less rewarding.
