I remember the thrill

that these flowers fill

my senses with delicate pink

pretty flowers that I think

belong to the teak tree

If I am wrong, forgive me

I do not know its name

Oh what a shame

that a beautiful tree

has no identity

standing alone

this flowering tree

Till a lady dropped me a line
