Artocarpus altilis - Breadfruit

This tree hails from the South Pacific and found a second home in our part of the world through traders in the region. In the past, I have only seen the fruit of this tree that resembles the jackfruit or chempedak. The name is indicative of the texture of the fruit and it is regarded as a vegetable that must be cooked before it can be eaten. The male and female flowers are also present in separate clusters. Search me what gender these are but they look kind of cute.
