This is a post for my friend Rosemary. We met up for tea for the first time, just the two of us, despite having been classmates in secondary school and university mates and thereafter we lost contact for a number of years. It was only in recent years that we found ourselves in the same reunion gathering that takes place whenever a particular friend comes home from overseas to visit her family or when someone is uprooting to settle somewhere else.
Yes, we are all different people - different interests, different sets of friends, different ways of living our lives. Like the hydrangea flowers, we constitute the variety that add spice to life whenever we gather. Individually, we are also interesting people.
