High above my head were these blue flowers with purplish buds. They must be related to another specie that I see very often at the Singapore Botanic Gardens - Memecylon caeruleum which is a shrub. What good fortune to encounter these flowers. I am sure they do not flower very frequently. A surprise and a joy to behold.
