Hortpark Flowers - Colour Series (Red and Pink)

Near the Butterfly enclosure is a small tree with these familiar looking flowers. When I saw the butterfly-shaped leaves I knew that it must be related to the Orchid Tree that I have photographed many times. A search on the internet yielded this result: Bauhinia galpinii or Red Orchid Tree.

At the basement of the Visitor Centre I saw this flower belonging to one of several plants grown vertically on the wall. I do not know what it is called.

Pentas lanceolata (Egyptian Stars)

Rangoon Creeper growing wild on a fence between HortPark and KentRidge Park.
