Allamanda

A friend said that he did not believe in taking photographs of anything because the best things should be appreciated and enjoyed with your own eyes. His view is that technology has still not perfected the way the human eye perceives colours. Looking at the two photos above I am beginning to wonder if there is truth in what he said. The same flower taken from different angles and at different times even though it may be seconds apart in time are of two different shades of yellow. Did I really see them in these shades of yellow? I think I have to pay more attention to the accuracy of the camera in recording the colours of the flowers that I photograph. Maybe my friend is right after all but that will not stop me from taking pictures like there is no tomorrow each time I see flowers.

Hahaha sometimes our eyes are deceiving. Many times when I load my camera to the computer, I could see things that I missed. But people have different ideas of appreciating things. Your photos are educational too, you thought me a lot about flowers that I dont even know their names and flowers that I never see before. Good way to share with others what you see though photography.

Thanks Alice for your comment. I am glad you have so much to share with me too - places I have been to but did not see them the way you did. Different perspectives of things and that makes life more interesting to not just see from our individual points of view.
