Wolfe's Vine - Petraeovitex wolfei

This climber in the Singapore Botanic Gardens (SBG) is dripping flowers. I have photographed these flowers a few times but only found out the name of this plant from one of the 2005 SBG's newsletter.

wonder why they don't plant more of this vine? perhaps it's too 'messy'?

if you stay around, you can see many bees and large butterflies visiting the blooms.

Yes, now that you mention it, I have not seen this vine anywhere else.

The butterflies are not only big, they are super restless ;-)
